Let’s get together in celebration of the 4th of July weekend, an all day event on Sunday and enjoy the day by the Bay with great company, fitness fun, and a potluck picnic.

We had so much fun in previous years and we’re doing it again. Here is a video from the previous year: Picnic at Half Moon Bay. Invite Friends and Family! We have a handful of amazing instructors teaching Zumba, UJam, Bollywood, Line Dancing and more! Let’s get together for Fitness Fun and a Picnic Potluck by the Bay overlooking the beautiful Northern California Pacific Ocean.

Meet, socialize, get to know your fitness community, take memorable pics, enjoy the outdoors (overlooking the ocean! 🌊🤩🐳), we’ll have music and impromptu Zumba and UJam during our breaks. We’ll have video recordings for our 4th of July video. Come join us!

According to Weather.com, here is the forecast. The sun will be peeking through in/out throughout the day, with highs at 61°. Please plan accordingly. Last year, temperatures were forecasted about the same, but most of the day was between cool and comfortable warm.

**FREE Breakfast for setup crew and early birds**

Other Items:
– Utensils, Paper Cups/Plates will be provided.
– A 30QT Cooler with Ice will be provided. If you require more cooler space, please provide your own.
– To reduce plastics, Gallons of Water will be provided with paper cups.

  • This is an ALL DAY event. Bring a beach friendly potluck dish to share.
  • 8:00 am – Setup begins with breakfast and coffee.
  • 10:30 am – Morning stretches with Emily, teaching Circl Mobility 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻
    • includes a special prayer message 🙏✨ of gratitude to bless our day
    • Bring a mat, towel, sunscreen, and bottled water
  • 12:00 pm – Potluck Lunch
  • 2:00 pm – 90 Minutes of fun fitness activities with UJam, Zumba, Line Dancing, and other formats with various instructors (plug and play format)
  • Coordinated carpool: highly encouraged! please contact those on ‘going’ list (from the Facebook Event page) to coordinate your travel.
  • Other activities: if you have a passion for any other format fitness, bring it! Let’s have a great time!
  • ARRIVE EARLY for best parking. Parking will get full. Carpool is highly encouraged. If you plan to park in the Francis Beach lot, parking is $10 per vehicle and in/out privileges will not guarantee a spot if you leave and return. If you arrive later (typically after noon), parking may be limited to the streets (alongside Kelly Ave.), be sure to observe all parking signs, and expect to walk a long distance to get to the park. Wear comfortable shoes.

  • A warm sweater or jacket in case it gets chilly. Typically in the mornings and evening, the temperature can drop significantly. Keep an eye out on this website for information concerning the weather.
  • Wear comfortable clothes with a set of clothes to change into if you need to change later in the day or plan to join for after hours social time at our designated restaurant (TBA).
  • Bring picnic gear to keep comfortable: beach towel, sunscreen, hat, beach chair, personal daytime tent, etc.
